Context

A Private Equity fund was evaluating an investment opportunity in one of the leading mental health clinics in North America. Fund needed a provider of commercial due diligence of the deal.

Problem

For making the final investment decision, a Private Equity fund needed to conduct commercial due diligence with an evaluation of potential market growth, competitive landscape, and risk analysis. Due to a lack of onboard resources and required competencies, it was decided to involve a third party to provide a commercial due diligence exercise.
