Context

Local ceramic producer aimed to scale up production capabilities. The company has a significant share of export in the revenue and tried to catch the opportunity to increase its share in the international market. There was growing international demand on ceramic products so the producer should have acted quickly on supply side.

Problem

The scale-up program required additional quick funding. Attracting additional capital in equity was not an option. Current investors did not have additional capital to provide this investment and they protested equity diluting by the third party. The company asked for help with attracting loans for investments in the CAPEX from the financial market.

What we did

01
Conducted information memorandum about market, company, its needs in finance and effects on the company business indicators
02
Presented corporate information to the local banks on the market which could finance the business needs
03
Combined and compared banks’ proposals and selected creditors with conditions better than the market average

Results achieved

01
Banking loan attracted for the whole amount of CAPEX investment needs
02
Interest rate was below the market average by 2%
03
Scale-up program successfully funded and executed
04
The loan was repaid and closed timely
